1 year post-op

Just a quick note to say Hi to everyone. It was 1 year for me on 4/12/05 - hard to believe that a year has gone by already! I've lost 122 lbs since surgery (total of 142 lbs including what I lost in the month prior). I'm now just 9 lbs from Dr. Irgau's goal for me. I'd like to do another 15-20, but I'll see where I end up at. I feel wonderful and I'm healthy again -that's what it is all about for me. I no longer take 7 medications to control diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure and do not have to use my CPAP machine for sleep apnea. I did finally submit a new picture - it should show up here, if not, they are on my profile. They are from Christmas and I have lost another 15 lbs or so since they were taken. I don't post a lot, but I read the boards nearly daily. Everyone on here has been such a help and inspiration to me. Thank you! Patty
