One year anniversary
Well, today is my one year anniversary.
I'm happy, I'm healthy, I really can't complain!!!
I've only lost about 85 pounds, which is a little disappointing to me, but I'll take it. I would really like to lose another 30 pounds. I need to get refocused. I can eat just about anything I want (even that Chinese that took me by suprise way back when).
BUT I'M healthy and enjoy going to the gym, so let's see what the second year brings!!!!
To all pre-ops...keep the faith, your time will come
To all newbies...stay strong, it gets easier
and to all you seasoned vets....Thanks for all of your encouragement and wisdom!!!!!!
Ken
Hi Ken,
Congratulations on your one year! You have done a great job and I'm sure your journey isn't over yet, a day at a time right? Now, nod your head and say "Yes Linda " 85 pounds is awesome and I'm so glad you're healthy and still thinking about staying the course and working on your focus, that's the new challenge. May our second year bring as many wonderful experiences as the first.
Linda

Ken,
It is hard to believe how very fast this (post-op) time flies!!! You have done an awesome job, you look GREAT! No need to be concentrating quite so hard on the actual numbers on the scale ... your body says it all. You look and feel great!!!
Here's to many more years to come!!! Congratulations my friend!
