Update on WLS wing at Christiana Hospital

WOW! You should SEE the changes..ok, they are minor, but when you are laying in those beds, not so minor! They have new beds, a fan in the room, pretty pictures on the wall! There are at least 3 nurses (different shifts), who have had either banding or GBS! VERY COOL! The beds look comfy - ok, Penny wouldn't push over & share! Her nurse, Lynn is an absolute doll! Very kind and patient. Even the P.A. from the OR stopped in and was very kind as well. For all the new patients, this may not seem like much, but believe me, ANYTHING is better than those old beds! So, hooray to Christiana for thinking of the comfort of the 'bigger' patients. Valerie

Thank goodness for teh new beds. After the first night I refused to use mine lol. We'll have to ask Penny how it was "after today". Gigee

That is awesome!! My sister works at the hospital and she was always saying how nice the WLS wing was even then! I've never seen it but I can't wait! I like staying at the hospital - it's like a super-sterile Holiday Inn!! simply Gawjus
