2 wk post-op appt

My appt has come and gone and it was a good one. I'm getting about 40 grams of protein in so I'm to up it to 65 and I've lost 18.2 (i love that point 2 stuff) pounds. 18.2 lbs. Can't see it. Can't really feel it but I can wiggle in the seat belt again!!! wohoo *grin* Gigee

Congradulations on the weight loss. I had my two week post op appt. today also I lost 17.6 pounds. I don't see it either, but others see it in my face. At least you are doing god on the protien. It's a challenge for me to even get in 25 grams. Shirley

((((( Shirley ))))) hi hun! I wish our appts had coincided I would have loved to have seen you! I am using protein shakes counting as liquid and protein and if you are not good at making them then there is one that I found at Pathmark (in the vitamin section) called Carb Solutions that has 21 grams per can. Flavors are Vanilla and Chocolate. I've liked them both. Lord knows on a few bites of food those numbers in food is impossible. Unless you eat some alligator Great job on your loss and keep in touch! ((((Gigee))))) Thanks for the advice but I am not trying anymore carb solutions anything. I had 2 bites of their ice cream and was getting sick all night. Every 1/2 an hour. I talked to Dr. peters and he said I kept getting sick because after you get sick once it's like a reflux and you can get sick over & over.

Ugh. I'm so sorry to hear you are having a problem with throwing up. I think my pouch is just as cast iron as my stomach was. Time will only tell. Best of luck and I hope this ends soon for you. Have you tried making some of your own protein shakes? Gigee

Thank you sweetie, it was great to see you today. More shakes lol. Holy moly. Gonna have to track better what's going in too. I may be over 40 some but it's so easy to count to 40 and then stop Gigee
