Hi all, Been awhile since I checked the board. I always say I am going to be good...and check in frequently...but then...well, you know how a hectic life gets in the way!!! I paged down a day or so of the recent postings and it was like catching up with good friends! I have a suggestion for those who might be struggling with your protein intake. Luckily I am doing fine just relying primarily on my food intake but I could always improve -- I guess! I was not a big fan of any of the protein supplements, shakes, bars etc. And I thought I tried everything... BUT I am now using the premade bottled IsoPure which I water down with H20. (such as 8oz. to 8oz.) I find it much more tasteful than the straight IsoPure (which I tried and crossed off my list earlier on!!!). It also helps me with my fluid intake since I can sip it throughout the day! (I put it in a sports bottle that has a freezer stick insert and it stays cold for quite a while.) I am also a big fan of Carb Countdown milk and usually drink 2 servings per day. My favorite is to heat it and mix in some decaf instant coffee. (The coffee doesn't totally mix in so I pour it through my gold coffeemaker filter to catch the grit before I drink it!) Or I heat the chocolate variety and drink it like cocoa.
