I'm not sharing, I'm requesting! In an effort to make this exerience fun I've involved the entire family in being taste testers for protein drinks. Megan and I (sometimes even Joe) stand over the blender in the kitchen as we concoct these things and then give them a test on the ol taste buds finding that they are all better on day 2 once the protein powder doesn't taste like protein anymore. We are working through the recipes that Shay shared the other day and wonder if anyone has more they would like to share? Val, just so you know. The rootbeer shake is awesome, just make it one day and let it settle overnight. Next day it tastes pretty darn good! I just had some for breakfast So all you old-timers, even some of you not so old timers, if you have some recipes to share please do! Gigee

I was talking to gail earlier today and she made a comment about missing pina colada's so I shared this recipe with her: Pina~Colada Shake 8 oz can Refrigerated Crushed Dole Pineapple (In Natural Unsweetened Juices) 1 Tsp of Coconut Flavoring 1/2 cup Crushed Ice 1 Packet Artificial Sweetner (Splenda ) 1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder of Choice Combine in your blender and blend for 2 minutes on high. Pour into a fancy chilled glass, garnish with paper umbrella. Enjoy! Watching of course the amount pinapple for sugar content. She tried it out tonight and let me know that it was great! So here's another to try I'll create a web page soon with a ton of recipes with critique and ratings. They should have never given me this much time off of work!

OKAY ...Here is one for ya! Strawberry/Banana Shake 4 oz of SF Vanilla or plain yogurt or skim milk... 1 scoop of vanilla proten powder 1/4 cup of strawberries... (Make it 3-4 berries) 1/4 banana 1 Packet of Splenda Not bad if I must say! I have also tried Peanut Butter/Banana Chocolate Shakes.... Okay not as good as it was with ice cream but it is passable 6 ounces skim milk 1 tbsp peanut butter (I use the real stuff not FF) 1/4 banana 1 tsp vanilla Splenda If you want then give a scoop of protein powder to up the protein counts but it tastes great without it.... Enjoy! Debbie
