Approval and Date..Yipee!

To all of my new weight loss partners...Thank you. For all your unselfish sharing of time, information, support and encouragement. I am grateful. The support group meetings have been a great way to get the real flavor of the joys and challenges of the road ahead. To anyone who has not attended any - try to find the time. It is well worth it! PMRI was just what I needed to face the facts about the changes my body and head would be going through. I feel so fortunate to be a part of the Delaware WLS community. What a great group. This whole process seemed overwhelming when I started. You all helped make it manageable. I am looking forward to passing on your generous spirit when my turn comes to welcome someone new to the process and help them find their way. Today I got the call from Misty at Dr. Wynn's office and found out that Aetna approved me in 1 day. My surgery date is set for April 11. So I am on my way. I am well prepared thanks to all of you. CONGRADULATIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you are so happy. It has only been 3 days since my wls so I know how excited you are. I still can't wait untill the pounds start dropping off. You'll be on the loser side soon see ya then!!!!!!!!!

Penny, Congratulations on getting your date and your insurance approval. So good to hear you are prepped and eager to go. Your surgery is only days away now!!! And you are so right about how wonderful the support is on the boards and at the meetings. So glad you were able to make it. I had not been able to connect with a meeting for a while until Monday night, and that meeting really helped to refresh me. The speaker was encouraging and seeing everyone was just such a boost.
