The big day has arrived!
The big day has arrived... I think!!!
Last I heard my surgery tomorrow was dependent on my TSH level from a blood test done last week. I haven't heard anything to the contrary so I'm guessing I'm on for tomorrow. Can I tell ya about clear liquids on Easter? My Easter dinner was a SF Popcicle ... That was after having tried the vegetable broth.. ugh.
Hopefully by the time this is all over and I am home I will have been completely moved to our new place (thank you son) and will have internet access at my finger tips again.
Thank you all for your support this past year. I'll do my best to remember all you have taught me. This site, the posts and the wonderful people here have been nothing short of a blessing. Ya'll are the BEST!
*hugs*

Giggee,
WONDERFUL NEWS!!!
In the midst of all they busyness, don't forget to get those all important before pics today. It really helped me so much to have full body pics of the front, side views, rear view and a close up of your face. If you are REAL BRAVE (I wasn't until I was several months out BTW), get a set of pics in your undies or something clingy to show your real shape (up close and personal). The pics can really help you see your loss if the mirror betrays you in the weeks to come. It is totally awesome to watch the monthly transformation.
Now about that Easter Dinner ... I was just thinking about that yesterday ... of all the poor pre-ops having to deal with a Holiday Dinner right before surgery. SUre hope the sf Popsicle was especially decedent!!! Never to worry though, next Easter you will be sashaying your skinny self to those Holiday Dinners!!!
Wishing you the best. I will be praying for you and looking forward to hearing of your adventures when you when you are back to posting!
Hugs,
Tammy
Gigee, WOW. How great. Keeping the Looser's bench warm for you. Try to remain focused and above all positive. I think for my clear liquid day I drank about 3 cans of College Inn chicken broth. Can you say hate it now. Remember the chap stick. It'll be your best friend for a couple of days. ((HUGS)) Elissa
