Does anyone know??

My surgery was postponed from 3/15 because of ulcers. I have been taking medication to clear this up since that day. Now I am scheduled for my second EDG on Thursday to see if I can be given a date for surgery. If everything looks O.K. it will still be another 6 week wait. However I am home right now from work with a sinus and 2 ear infections. Will they still be able to do the EDG, does anyone know?? Bonnie

Bonnie, I don't have an answer for you ... sorry. I was hoping someone else would know and post. So sorry to hear you are going through a rough time right now. Infection truly wears the body down, I feel horrible when dealing with just one of those, never the less all three. HUGS!!! At any rate, be sure to drink plenty of fluids, get those vitamins in and keep a steady flow of protein (every few hours) feeding your body if you can. Truly I am amazed at how well the combination works to strengthen my immune system. When I have a lapse, and don't follow those rules, I pay for it with getting sick every time. When I adhere to those rules, I remain healthy USUALLY (not all the time) unless I am bombarded with stress. I am so sorry about your delay with the ulcers, but so glad they caught them pre-op and are treating them. Hang in there, and use the time in the interim to build yourself up as much as you can. Again, enough of the unsolicited advice for the day ... GEESH!!! Sure hope you get to feeling better real soon!

TamTam Thanks for your advice. Unsolicited, or not, it's nice to know others are concerned enough to reply. I am sticking to my medication and plenty of fluids regiment. And I truely am glad that they found ulcers PRE OP. I don't need any unexpected complications when I'm on the table. Bonnie
