3/18 meeting @ PMRI
Hi Gang
I saw Joe's post saying that Dr Wynn will be speaking at the meeting tomorrow, but I didn't see any time posted. Does anyone know what time it is, and can we bring a guest?? I am pre-op (my date is May 9th) and this would be a perfect meeting to start with. Looking forward to seeing some of you there.

Bonnie and Jen (and everyone else who is heading out to the PMRI support group),
I think you guys are going to be so glad you went. Truly a great bunch of people will be there. The best part is, they know (and have been) exactly where you are. For me that was just phenomenal ... as I had never had that before (I had always been the fattest one in all my groups). Anyway, if you can stick around after the meeting and gather with the group heading out to Panera Bread for lunch and the "infamous" Trader Joes field trip. It will give you an opportunity to share lunch, laugh and carry on, which can be much needed sometimes. It will also give you a chance to ask questions, not that everyone has all the answers, but certainly everyone will try to help out.
Anyway, just wanted to let those that did not know that PMRI charges $5.00 admission to the meeting. Did not want anyone to be surprised and not have it on hand.

Hi Tammy,
Sorry that you could not make it. I had a WONDERFUL time. Everyone is so kind.
I didn't make it to lunch however I was able to chat with all before they left.
It was great to be able to ask questions face to face and get the answers.
The people in the group are so sweet and they really care!
See you there next time,
Jen

Jen,
So good to hear you had a wonderful time. And you are so right, everyone is so wonderful and caring. Too bad you didn't get to make the lunch, you may have found out just how crazy they all are also!!! *grin*
Hopefully hubby's schedule will be clear to allow me to make it next time and I can meet you and all the other wonderful new people also!!!
BTW - congrats on your surgery and doing so well. BTW - the nutritionist is so right, you have to eat to lose ... trust me, I didn't follow that rule so well and felt the consequences of it with a slower loss. What is it that they say about hindsight??? I guess we all are in a constant state of learning eh? At any rate keep up the good work!!!
Hugs,
Tammy
