Soooooo Sick and Blah
Hi Delawarians and hi to the Marylander's too, just popping in to say hello real quick. I feel like I have been hit by a truck! I was lucky and escaped all the nasty illnesses that made their way around the area this Winter, all except one brush with a cold a few months back. But oh maaan lemme tell ya, hubby called me from work Thursday night and said " I'm on my way home, get me a doc appointment NOW if they will see me" He never does that so I knew he felt terrible...3 scripts later he was in bed totally knocked out. I was fine on Friday, felt slightly off last night and today WHAM! Freight train time.
Please watch out for this one and make sure you take good care of yourself as this one comes on VERY quickly. I am talking hours here. One minute I was fine, the next I was having 102.3 temperature, terrible chills and aching, felt like my legs were falling off. I'm feeling a bit better right now and got up to try and eat something, I have been pushing fluids all day. Hope this finds you all fine and watchout for this one, it's a doozy!
Linda
I'm making you some chicken soup. Put your nose close to the monitor. I hope you have smell-a-vision. MMMMM. Feel better soon. Whatever you have seems to hit fast and furious. My daughter that works at the hospital had it last week. Her husband and 1 son had it first and shared. It lasts about 10 hours, then leaves you limp for another 4/5 days. So I hope you are feeling perkier by now. It'll be over soon. ((HUGS)) from afar, don't want to get too close. Elissa

Linda,
Sure hope you are feeling better. Trust me, I know (a little bit anyway) what you are going through ... just went through it with my little ones ... not sure I have ever seen them so cranky ... I knew they were feeling miserable. Hang in there and continue to push the fluids. Let us know how you are doing when you are up to it.
Hugs,
Tammy
