Hi everyone, I was on the main boards today and found a web site that was quite helpful. It gives the weight loss expectation and what we should approximately be loosing etc. I found it quite interesting as it also added in the "age factor". If it is right I am still considered overweight but I am at the Average American weight for a person of my height and age and my BMI is 28.3 as compared to 44.3 when I began 8 1/2 months ago. Still amazes me. The site is: http://www.thinnerself.com/files/Expect_Chart.htm Hope this helps somebody else. It put out a great report. God bless,] Mama

I LOVE this site ... I repeat, I LOVE this site. I have kept track of my stats there since the very beginning ... WONDERFUL place and tons of great information on Bruce's site. Just one word of warning ... jot down your stats from time to time, cause if your computer crashes or you dump your cookies, you can lose all your information there. I know, it happened to me!!! Just a tid bit ... I just updated my information there a few days back and I have hit my "goal" there, but I still want to lose another 10 pounds and I still need to get the tummy & hernia fixed. But other than that, the skin and muscles are doing fairly decent, far better than I would have thought considering my age, the amount of weight and my "thin" skin. Just tried on some summer skirts and shorts, and I just may go ahead and be brave and actually wear something that shows a bit of leg this year. Have not really done that since I was a pre-teen. Would rather suffer in the heat than to wear something cool!!! Anyway, have a great day ... so glad you posted this place. Truly a great place that can certainly benefit others!!! Hugs, Tammy

Hi Mama, Sorry I am so slow in replying to this message but I just got around to checking the site out. It IS very interesting and informative. Does anyone have a simple way they can explain to me the "normal weight". "goal weight," "ideal weight"? DUH, me! It's such a difference in ranges. The normal weight for me appears to be close to what Dr. Iragu expects me to be at, the goal weight is more like what I was thinking and the ideal weight...where is that taken from...to me it sounds super, super lean...like I think I weighed that when I was 12! Just wondering? THANKS FOR SHARING THE INFO Kit
