Hello All My Delaware Friends
I've been missing you guys terribly, its just been so busy that I haven't had much chance to communicate like I've wanted to. But hopefully I'll be able to get a little better with that over the next few weeks.
In the meantime I just want you all to know my wonderful news. Since the surgery, you'll be happy to know that I've now lost a total of 180lbs and my Surgeon says that everything has healed extremely well. In all honesty I'm feeling absolutely fantastic, NO PROBLEMS!!!! I should have some pictures to email within the next few weeks. I want you all to know also that I'm scheduled to go in to Temple Hospital for Abdominoplasty and a Breast Reduction/Lift on April 29th provided my pre-admission testing goes well. I'd like all of you to keep me in your prayers.
Also, as many of you know from my previous postings I'm trying my best to relocate to Delaware by the begining of next year. So it would really be nice if I could make as many new friends as possible and also become apart of the Delaware support meetings. Since I'll be coming to a different place and do not know many people who live in Delaware, I'm looking forward to some much needed support and developing "quality" friendships. I have made one new friend "Valerie" and she's the greatest, don't know what I'd do without her. But there is always room to make more friends, the more the merrier! So give me a shout out!!! Also, my Best Wishes go out to all you preops and postops in your journey to Good Health and a New You! I'll be in touch...

Hi Shawna,
Congrats on the 180 lbs. Wow. What an accomplishment. You must be soooooo proud of yourself. Good job. Sounds like your overall health has improved. Keep up the good work. Good luck with the tummy & boob surgery. You are courageous to do them both at the same time. We will be glad to have you as a part of our group here in Delaware. There are a few support groups you can visit. Each one is special and I go to as many as I can. I get something new each time. So when you get here or if you just visit, let us know and we'll be glad to show you the ropes. ((HUGS)) Elissa

I moved here from philly about 13 years ago. I like it alot. Wow 180lbs, you have to be proud. Although I am sure it was a journey well taken, everyone has their own unique story. I just had surgery on Feb 23rd, so I don't have much to report. I am going to try and stay in support groups, because surgery seems to be only a small part of the picture.
Feel Free to e-mail me anytime. I wish you the best with your surgery on April 29th and please get us some pictures
. My sister had the surgery 2 yrs in June. See looks great, but it hasn't been without alot of sweat and tears. Stay Brave!
Many Blessings,
