I know that we are not doing the South Beach Diet, but I checked out the Kraft website and they have recipes that can be used for our WLS diet. Not all the recipes are right for us, but many are. Here is the url if you want to check it out: http://www.kraftfoods.com/South_Beach_Diet/home Kraft Foods is also bringing out a line of South Beach Diet prepared foods. Again, I think that some of them will work for our diet. Here is the article I found: Kraft Foods will expand its alliance with The South Beach Diet and its creator, Arthur Agatston, M.D., by launching a broad line of new products under the South Beach Diet brand. The wide variety of products--offering choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as snacking--will reach national distribution in spring 2005. The South Beach Diet line will include cereal, meal replacement and cereal bars, refrigerated sandwich wraps, frozen entrees and frozen pizza. Donna

Donna Thanks for the wonderful information. This South Beach Diet is a wonderful diet. I was on it last year and lost 32 pounds. And you are right, a lot of their meals and recipes are appropriate for WLS. I am actually following the south beach diet now and watching my sugar intake so that I can lose before surgery. I will check the KRAFT web site out. Thanks again, Julie

Thanks for the info! I was just at the bookstore today and looking at the South Beach stuff and wondering...they have a food guide that lists sugar contents of common foods and I've been looking for a book like that for months now. Do you think it would be a decent source? I know the diet differs from ours, and I am still an avid label reader, (thanks to my angel Elissa), but curious if anyone thinks their book would be helpful. I am especially interested in knowing sugars of things that don't have labels (like fresh fruits and veggies...) THANKS AGAIN! Kit
