I cannot believe this. Misty from Dr Peters office called me today and she is pencilling me in for May 3rd. I just can't get over this. This is what I have been waiting for, for a long time. There is finally light at the end of the tunnel. I completed my first life skills classes last night. They went well. I want to point out how thankful I am to have everyone on this message board as a support. I can honestly say that I will soon be on the losing side. Smiles! Julie

Hi Elissa!!!!! Thanks so much for the encouraging words. I still have my positive attitude and I am taking those tiny steps to make me a healthier me. I signed back up to Curves to exercise too. I want to get back into a routine before my surgery. I have also started writing down what I eat because this is what we have to do for our class. And my GOD!!!! You told me about the label reading and your are right. I was in Walmart the other day for 45 minutes just looking at the protein bars. LOL Thanks for your wonderful support and I will keep you upated Julie
