I had my surgery on February 23rd and happy to report I am home and all is well. Thanks to all of you who gave me so much encouragement. Days before the surgery I keep reading postings on the web site to stay focused and to remember the important reason I made this decision. I am having a few shrinking pains. ):, but still consider myself very blessed. I'll be popping in from time to time to give updates and get advice. As time goes on, perhaps I will have some great advice for others walking this road. As for today, this is my advice: hang in there and remember; "Today is the first day of the best days of your life." Make it happen! Towanda T.
