You guys are awesome!

Good morning everyone. Glad you all came to the meeting yesterday. It was a good one. Protein is important. I know you guys can't figure out how I get so much protein in. But I made it a challange early on, so now it is habit. I'm not perfect, I do slip up from time to time. Believe it or not my body lets me know right away in little ways. So I talk to myself & jump back on cause I am committed to my new lifestyle and being healthy & energized makes me feel sooo good. Lunch was gooooood at Panera's. I think we only touched on a little at Trader Joe's. For such a small store they offer so much. Hope the label reading lesson helped you out. You really don't have to eat chicken broth the rest of your life. The possibilities and choices are many. It'll be up to you to sort them out and develope good habits. As you can see, there are some of us that will be glad to guide you along the way. The whole WLS experience is a little scary. Real people can make a difference. So relax, smile and have a good time. Laugh & be happy. It does burn calories. Everytime I hear the word carrot I will think of you Gigee. Thanks for sharing. I'll be posting the pic's on the MSN site later. The memories that we're building now are happy ones that I love to look at & share. I have to get a new name 1st. I'm over the limit of pic's posted in my name. I am so sorry I didn't talk to anyone, It was my first meeting and it was a lot to take in. I reconized some faces from the pictures on this site. Not yours of course, Gigee I also had a really bad cold and I didn't want to get anyone waiting for surgery or who has just had surgery sick. When is the next meeting and what is the topic? Thanks. I had such a great time Saturday. I just loved the seminar on protein and meeting all you wonderful people. Julie and I had a wonderful time. And it was so much fun. My daughter is doing her pre op consultations and etc. I had my operation done in Barix Center Langhorne PA Nov 19 and have done wonderful. I am losing so much and gain much more; self esteme and new friends. I'm praying Julie does well also. She is my best friend and my daughter and she deserves the best. We are very close and I can't wait for her to go through the journey. Now that I've had mine done I can help her with her journey to her best life. She is a beautiful person inside and out now; she will be phenomenal after surgery. One thing is good we can help each other also. THANKS AGAIN Nancy Crouch

talk about a built in support system. you two are so much fun and what joy to be around. it is refreshing to see family enjoy each other so much. i hope we can get together again soon. Gigee
