Has anyone used the Sublingual B-12 from Bariatric Advantage?

Hi! I'm finding that my monthly B-12 shots are not sufficient and Dr. Irgau suggested that I start taking an iron supplement. Since I'm tired of chewing supplements that taste awful (and I know liquid iron can stain the teeth), I am considering trying the Sublingual B-12 sold at Bariatric Advantage. Has anyone tried this product? Did it help your energy level? Did it cause any side-effects (constipation, etc.)? Thanks for the help! Cassandra

Hi Cassandra, First, congrats on the loss! I purchased sublingual B-12, 1000mcg from the Vitamin Shoppe for $5.97 (100 lozenges). They don't have a bad taste and dissolve quickly, leaving no aftertaste. Hope this helps! V

Hello - I take the supplements from the Vitamine Shop (their brand)- just put them under your tongue to dissolve - they are almost tasteless. MotherLove

Hi Cassandra, I use the 6 buck version from Trader Joe's and have to knock it back to every other day. My levels have been off the charts since surgery. Linda
