Holy Jerked-Around Batman!

Thank you, everone, for the messages posted below and for the e-mails of encouragement and support and especially for the phone calls (yay for my angel!). Misty just called again and now I'm rescheduled for Monday--better than Thursday, but not a lot of a break between my clear liquids! I figure it means there are people who Need to be in the hospital IN the hospital and my turn will come when it's time. This way I get to watch Smallville tonight, spend a bit more time on my own and in prayer, and devour the girlscout cookies I was given for my birthday! Besides, six days on a clear-liquid diet = more weight loss pre-operatively (about 35lbs down so far!!) = more weight loss post-operatively. I'm much closer to my goal now than I was in December and I haven't even been cut up and re-routed yet! Anyhow, again, thank you...please keep praying for me...and let's hope that Monday is the final date!!! --S

Hi Susane, I am so sorry to hear that your surgery date got postponed until next week. It's got to be frustrating, since you were so well prepared and all. But I've been reading your posts for awhile now and can see you have the right outlook on things. You will succeed WHENEVER the surgery happens. Keep up your positive attitude and you'll do great! Hi Susane, I was glad to hear you were all set for surgery, then sad that it was postponed.....................THEN, glad that it was rescheduled a few days earlier then what they originally told you. You have such a positive attitude. It will carry you far in your latest journey, the one that leads you to a healthier life. Bonnie

Susane!!! Man oh man what a great attitude. Keep it up, you are absolutely right ... the better you do now the better you will do post-op!!! I went into that last minute last meal syndrome ... could kick myself silly knowing (believing) what I know now. Continue with your excellent work ... I will be praying for you as you go back onto liquids and as your surgery nears, I will be praying for your surgery as well. Hopefully Monday will be your "real" date! Hugs, Tammy
