Anyone a teacher in Delaware???
Hi all,
I know this has nothing to do with WLS but I thought some of you out there might be able to help me with my current employment endeavor.
I am considering signing with a teaching service that places sub. teachers in schools. It seems like I meet the qualifications for the state of DE.
Any DE teachers out there--can you offer me some assistance????
Can you live in PA and teach in DE?
Did anyone use a service (which one?) and what were your opinions on it?
Any general advice on what I should, (or should not!) do?
I'm sure I'll have a million other questions but for now I am trying to get my basic facts in order. I know that there HAS to be fellow WLS people who are working as teachers. Can anyone help?
Please send me emails. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
Kit
Hey Kit-
I'm a teacher, but in a private school, not in a public district so I don't know what help I'll be...however, I do have friends subbing in DE districts and I know a couple use a service. They seem to have had pretty good luck with it...let me know if there IS anything I can help out with!

I am teacher in the colonial school district! I am not sure about the other school districts but we use Kelly Services for our substitute needs. You may want to contact Kelly Svcs. (they are listed in the phone book) to find out the necessary steps to make you active on the sub. list! You could probably check with Kelly if they work with any other school districts...I think they may work with Christina as well. If they don't, the phone book also lists the school districts in delaware. You'll need to call the districts directly to find out their sub.system.
Good Luck,
Missy
