Support Group

I am looking for support group in Dover...I am hoping to have surgery within the next 2 months. My doctor is at John Hopkins in Baltimore..so it is a little too far to travel for support group right now. Can't wait to hear from you!!! Thanks!! Gretchen

Hi Gretchen: I belong to a small support group in Smyrna, DE -- we meet once a month, usually the second Thursday of the month at the home of Ginger Barkley. You can contact Ginger at 653-5971 or at [email protected]. We have a good group that is extremely supportive and eager to help anyone. Ginger is 2 1/2 years post op and is extremely helpful. We have people in the group ranging from those getting ready for surgery to Ginger. I am nearly 2 years post and usually go every month. I live in Lewes and drive to Smyrna for the meeting.
