WOW moments!
Hi everyone!!
I just wanted to let you know that i hada few "wow" moments while i was in jacksonville over this past weekend. First, and to me the most exciting, I got on the plane, and for the first time in a very LONG time, i did not need a seat belt extention! It was the first time i flew since August (2 weeks before my surgery) and i could not have been happier! The people i went with asked me why i was smiling......all i could say is that it was something that they would never be able to understand because they have never walked in my shoes. It really felt great though. The second thing is that we must have walked close to 10 miles along the St. Johns river over the weekend, and to my surprise, i kept up with my friends! No rest breaks or anything! I really enjoyed getting back to the car WITHOUT huffing and puffing!! These may seem like small things, but this journey has given me so much to be thankful for! I see Dr. Wynn on the 25th, which will be my 6 month anniversary! I need to lose just over 4 pounds before that check up to reach the "century club"!! It is something that i never though would happen, considering i have tried to lose weight my entire life. Soon, this dream will come true! Have a great day!

Hey Mr Joe,
I share in your excitement of the accomplishments! Remember I told you about the "accomplishment I had made during my journey and how insignificant they probably were to others. It is a such a wonderful feeling when those "little" things other take for granted are accomplished by us obese people. You've got a lot more accomplishment that will excite you in the near future and I am glad you share them with all of. The other day my Mom came in my house and saw me sitting in the big chair in the living room, you know the one and she looked and said "I remember when you took up the whole seat and now you look so tiny there". Way to go Joe and keep up the great work! You are a very special person to me!!!
Peace~~ Hope
ps..you single ladies out there....don't let this one get away from you, only if I were single
