Diane Cook UPDATE
It's been a while since I've posted. My surgery was June 29 and I've lost 99.8 pounds since the surgery; 134 from my highest weight. Finding time to exercise is still a challenge. I've been traveling a lot -- a storytelling trainers' workshop in Illinois in December; Bradenton Florida for a ministerial convocation in January; and I just got back from Olathe Kansas on Saturday where I attended a drama conference.
On March 18-20, God's Power and Light will be performing ENCOUNTERS AT HEAVEN'S GATES, a script I wrote in 1998 at the Everett Theatre in Middletown. My drama ministry and I will be performing at the Everett on February 26 - my team will be doing two one-act audio plays and I'll close with a one-act monodrama called THE BRIDE. It's been an interesting ride so far.
With Dr. Miller's closing down his bariatric surgery practice, I'm revisiting my aftercare program. I have an appointment with my family doctor (Andrew Willet) tomorrow to see how we should proceed. I think I would like a bit more aggressive vitamin program than Dr. Miller subscribed to, but I'm waiting to see what Dr. Willet has to say.
All in all, things are looking good. I am blessed beyond measure, but need to get a handle on the exercise portion. Every time I plan to get to Curves, well, yeah.
I've got to run. I'm working on a story for the Delaware Business Ledger. I'll be posting a new pix and updating my info this weekend, hopefully
Bye
