I'm home!

I just got home this afternoon. I would have been released earlier today, but had to wait to get my potassium level up. I was suprised that I didn't go to 5D. In fact, I was told that I was the very first patient on the new unit. In fact, I was a celebrity and they even took pictures (and me looking my best...Ha!). I was on 3D and the nursing care was great. It was especially nice to find out that several of the nurses working this unit have had WLS and knew exactly what to do and what to help me expect. I especially want to thank everyone who gave advice on what to take with me to the hospital and for those of you who gave me so many words of support. Thank you all so very much. Donna

Hi Donna! Congrats on your new-found fame and on joining us on the loser's bench! I can't wait to check out 3D! I've heard so much about this dedicated unit for the WLS patients and it should be interesting. Take care, continue to walk and sip! Valerie
