Well guys I am home and thanks to all who have sent messages to me at the hospital. Thanks to Christie and Elissa who stopped by to visit me. I am getting my walking and breathing in but it seems alot to get all my liquid in they told me to only drink 1oz every hour for now so that seems like not enough for the whole day any suggestion also my husband went to the vitamin shoppe to buy liquid b12 and it is called b12 with folic acid but it says it has raspberry flavor and has sugar alchols but on the label it doesnt say how many grams he asked the guy at the store and he said it should be fine just wanted to make sure before I take something that will cause me to dump. otherwise everything else has been going well I am so glad to be home I can finally get some rest and I am glad to be a loser.

Congratulations Michelle. I am glad that you are home and everything is going well. Just wait until you are able to get your shower. I loved it. If you need to call me feel free you have my number. If you need it again let me know. Talk to you soon. Welcome to the losing side now. (((hugs))) Christie~3days post op

Welcome home, Michelle! I stopped by your room yesterday and you weren't in bed. Since I've never met you...you may have been wondering the halls? Sorry to have missed you...Christy had already been released. Glad you are both home and doing well. Welcome to the loser's bench, there's always room for more! Take care, Valerie PS - as long as you are getting a bit of fluid in each hour you are doing fine for the 1st few days. if you can drink a bit more, starting tomorrow, go for it, just don't overdo..the focus now is protein and fluids (many of your 'foods' can count as fluid intake...broth, jello, sf popsicles...)

Welcome home, Michelle!! (And ain't it good to be back in your own digs!) You're gonna be amazed at how things progress and I'm not just talking about weight loss (that's very individual!) I'm referring to the progression of fluid intake and all the other forthcoming adjustments. Like Val said, increase your fluids as tolerated. You'll soon be in a groove! Go easy, listen to your body, and follow the rules (just complying with the rules was a hugely positive change for me and it has really paid off!) Once again, welcome home and welcome to the rest of your life!!!! Sandi
