Hello everyone, I am so excited about tomorrow, but All this snow. I must be really special with it snowing this much. (lol) I just hope everything is okay for my surgery tomorrow. I am anxious, but for some reason, well not some reason, but I am missing food maybe the clear liquids. I am unsure. Thanks for listening. Christie

Hey sweetie I know exactly what you are going through I miss food too and I have another whole day to get through before my surgery on Wednesday. What is the purpose of being on a liquid diet nobody ever explained that they just said do it because I have talked to other people and they said they did not have to do it as a matter of fact people told me they went out to eat the night before their surgery and had a big meal. I am at work tonight till 9 pm and this snow is really coming down. I am sure you will be fine for the morning. I hate everbody here at my job they ordered pizza and I am siping on my liquids.

At each of the never ending 3-mos out sessions at PMRI, Brett, Dr. Irgua and Dr. Wynn have alll said that the reason for doing the clear liquids prior to surgery is to make the liver more pliable and easier to move around, thus making lap surgery easier and the reducing the chance for open surgery. Your almost there. Shouldn't be long now. Good luck on Wednesday. Rob

Thanks Rob for clearing that up for me. I made it through the first night I am still at work so when I go home I am going right to bed. Then one more day to get through and then my surgery date finally. I have been waiting for so long to have this and I can't wait to finally become a loser and I want to be the biggest loser ever. Thanks again.

HI Christie, I hope all went well for you today. Remember to breath in that little contraption they give you, and to walk, breathe, walk. Welcome to the other side. Ellen
