I got caught cheating! Who caught me???? my pouch, that's who!!! I figured I would snitch a piece of the ice cream cake that the department had for my birthday (OK,for everyone with bdays in Dec. and Jan.). I was good and skipped it the first time. But it was just sitting there in the freezer and someone has the heat turned up to about 100 degrees in the office, so something cool sounded REALLY good. I've snacked and cheated before....I've only ever dumped ONCE in nine months!!!! Well.......this makes twice! Never looking at ice cream again, Ken

Hi Ken, so sorry to hear about that. I am a big ice cream person, so now that you mention it, I guess I should eat my last bite ans say farewell to it because my surgery date is 1/25. AHHH darn, I guess that is the price we must pay. Christie

Well, I guess that means I get to rename you the good humor man yuk, yuk, yuk, I slay meself! I gotta laugh, I had a surprise bday party for my niece at my house 2 weeks ago and of course I got her a cake. I'm not real big on sweets but for some reason it looked really good. I thought about it but was too scared to try it. LOL, I'm glad you tried it for me, so now I have had a good reminder thanks to your experience. Way to go to bat for me there Ken! Whadda pal Glad you cured yourself of the ice cream temptation. Linda

I even get sick sometimes on No Sugar Added ice cream... something about the texture and the way it floats on top of anything in my pouch... I feel for you. Ice Cream Sick is baddddddd. Plus getting sick at work is just SOOOOOO EXCITING. Did your co workers ask you if you were okay 2.5 million times...lol. No one said we were fast learners... Hope you recovered quickly. I get sick also on sugar -free ice cream..but I also realized that I'm now lactose intolerant since surgery..which well..for my ice cream desires..is a good thing. Thanks Susan for visiting our great board...this is such a wonderful group here! Welcome! Hugs, Kimberly

But isn't it great to know it works. Now you can get back on the program. Rob , the ice cream cop, (By the way Linda has a great recipe for ice cream, that includes 20 minutes of aeroblic exercise.)

Go figure. Chinese food and ice cream. How long did the dumping last? Well, like Rob the Ice Cream cop said, at least you know the tool is still working. Sooooooo don't do that again. Stick with SF popcicles. Stick a few in the freezer at work. I am gonna make a few flavors of Linda's recipe for Ice cream. Sugar free with a flavor, little protein and some shake, rattle and rolling going on. Should be fun even if it isn't the real stuff. Gotta find rock salt. Went looking on Tuesday but Shop Rite only had the salt to put on icy sidewalks. I didn't think it was the right kind. I'll let you know if I'm successful and how it tastes. Elissa

Ken, Chalk it up to a learning experience. I can only eat a 1/4 of a cup of sugar free ice cream or I get extremely dizzy. (worse than I already am). How nice to see my "hero" posting on the Delaware Board. Susan Maria, you're the best!!! Please visit again. Best wishes, Debbie

Hi Ken Prior to surgery, I was an ice cream addict. Thanks for your reminder to not eat ice cream. Sorry to hear that you got sick at work. About three years ago, I got severe food poisoning at work after eating Japanese food from Christiana Mall. Without going into the particulars, I can honestly say that I will never, ever, touch Japanese food again. Hope you are feeling better. ((Hugs)) Rose
