I just got a call from the hospital saying that they have scheduled a endo scope for me in Feb. I thought I would have had all my testing done by this months end. Now this!! I wonder why it was not scheduled months ago, when I first started this process?? Bonnie

Hi Bonnie, Take a breath and relax. I know it can be VERY frustrating at this point in your journey, but try and stay focused and remember everything will happen in it's own time. Be ready tho, because the surgery schedule can be very fluid. I was scheduled for my scope in late early April of last year, then I got a call moving it up, had that done then got my surgery date moved up by three full weeks! Take this time and prepare yourself. You will get there! Linda

Hi Bonnie, I think many of us, when we were pre-op, were frustrated by all the "little things" -- tests, insurance confirms, etc. -- that added up and seemed to take forever. I was the worst! All in all, it took me a year from consult to surgery. Longest time of my life! But now I am 6 months out. Shortest time of my life! I don't know exactly where you are in the process but my endo was one of the last things I had done prior to surgery. Everyone else that answered your post was right too -- it's an ever-changing process. Sometimes the office calls to move you up, around...I know it's frustrating but it's well worth it for the end result! You will be there soon -- hang in there! Kit
