Denied for long term disability insurance...

Hi all, hope everyone is well. I got this letter today, and I ALMOST find it funny.. really.. I did laugh..but not quite sure why... After applying for LT Disability insurance and having to fill out a questionairre.. I've been denied. They said.. "Specifically, this request was denied because the height and weight measurements of 5 feet 2 inches and 190 pounds are not within our acceptable risk parameters". HAHAHA.. guess they should have seen me a year ago, huh? Too funny is that the life insurance company approved me.. I wonder what their acceptable parameters are... Just thought I'd share and see if anyone else gets the humor. T

You been busted girl. I didn't know you had to apply for LT disability. I thought it was our right as an employee. I never did. Is this something new? Guess the rules are changing. I'd have been denied too. You gotta admit, these insurance co's don't have a sense of humor. Have to keep ours. Elissa
