Anyone else getting irritated with the main board???
Ewwww .. I DO look cross-eyed, guys!! (and what's up with the yellow looking teeth!!) Whatever, I'll just have to deal with it. I do appreciate the efforts of the OH volunteers. It's not their fault ... they're not plastic surgeons It was nice meeting differrent ones at the support group last Monday and VERY nice to see my flower bud - Ellen!! Sandi
Hi Maxi. Glad to meet you the other night. It is cool to put real people to the faces on this site isn't it? As for the main board, I rarely ever go there. Sometimes they can be negative and oh so critical and angry. I would rather be positive and happy. Your photo looks okay to me. How recent was it? Did ya learn anything at the support meeting? Okay chickie tt you soon. Elissa
Good to meet you, too, Elissa! It is very cool to see folks in the flesh. I did enjoy the support group. And it was a real treat to have Irgau as our guest speaker. Learning about the "pinky nail" size of the one port was interesting. I didn't realize it was quite so small! I do have a suggestion for the PMRI sessions.... tell me what you think... do you suppose that it'd be helpful and more appropriate to devote an entire session to strictly pre-op matters. Then offer "Gastric Bypass: The first three months" as separately and specifically for the post-op. I feel that both subjects deserve attention and probably would benefit as separate sessions. What do you and everyone else think? Now about that photo ... that was taken about a month ago! (I've got some other pre-op doozies I'd like to post!) Anyway, I'm just going to have to accept that I do look cross-eyed and yellow-snaggle-toothed in the small version of this pic then just SHUT UP about it! (I will say, it looks a heck of a lot better on my profile.) But you know what, this all ain't about looks, now is it!! That's right!! But thanks everyone for your kind words! Sandi
