What can I do???

My scales seems to be stuck. I am 3 1/2 weeks out and lost roughly 20 lbs and 23 inches. I went to New York this weekend and did a ton of walking, but lost nothing. I have been sick since Thursday so I have not eaten much, probably half the amount of protein I should be taking. I'm getting frustrated. How do I jump start this? Michele

Michele, Keep doing what you have been doing before you got sick. Protein, water, exercise and get your food intake back up a bit. You body is just going through an adjustment period. It is sometimes necessary for your body to catch up to your weight loss. This is VERY common at your stage. I was on a stall from day 11 for I think 22 days. What I didn't realize at that time was I was losing tons of inches so watch your inches during this time ... these stalls are when I lost most of mine. Hugs, Tammy

Tammy, Thank you for the boost. Today's the first day I feel like I can try and get more protein in, so that's what I'm working on. So we'll see what happens. Michele

Michele, Boy do I understand. When I fall off the protein wagon, it is always so hard for me to get back on. Even though I absolutely KNOW how very important it is to my health and weight loss. Hang in there and just do what you can do. Please don't get discouraged with the stall in weight loss ... I so remember being in tears about it. I was so scared that I was doing something wrong or that I was not going to lose. Several people tried to tell me, but I just could not hear them. I went through a lot of unnecessary anguish. I hope to help spare you some of it. Hugs, Tammy
