It's Sandi (aka Maxi)...I'm home!
Hey everyone! Thanks for all the support, encouragement, calls, etc. Thanks for the visits and flowers, Viking Gal! And thanks for the gumball, Mickey! Yep, it is good, indeed, to be home! It was absolute divinity to have that tube out (the process was a BIG owie but instantly forgotten when my breathing capacity increased and the pain level decreased...yay!!) Interestingly, my glucose dropped 100+ pts. to normal levels after I returned home ...did that happen to anyone else? Well lads and lasses, once again, thanks for all the love! See you soon at a meeting! Take care all of you! Sandi
Welcome home Sandi. Hope you are doing ok dear. Don't forget to breathe, walk and keep sipping too. How'd that 1st shower feel? Close to being in heaven? Get out the ole chopper and blender and start creating. Anything is game if you can puree it. Everything except sugar of course.
Did you find a protein drink that you like?? Keep us posted and glad you are on the looser's bench. ((HUGS)) Elissa
Hi Sandi
Welcome home. So glad to hear that you are doing well. I, too, could not believe how great I felt after having the tube removed. The discomfort was instantly gone. I could breathe again. I never realized how much we take breathing for granted. It was a wonderful moment.
Also glad to hear about your blood sugar levels. When I came home, I came right off my blood pressure medicine. My back, hips and knees feel wonderful too. I feel like time has went backwards about 10 years. I feel younger. (Just wish I could convince my hair to feel younger and stop graying.)
Have a wonderful and blessed holiday.
Rose
