Biodermis-Scar management for PS?

Hello, Has anyone heard of.. or used.. Biodermis, Silicone Gel Sheeting Scar management system? This was just recommended to a friend *****cently had a TT, and before she spends the money ($38 a sheet), she was wondering if anyone has used it and their thoughts on it. Did it help with the scaring.. color and the raised portions? Thanks so much for anyone's input. T
