How long for approval

Hello Everyone!! This is my first time posting and I was wondering if anyone can tell me how long it normally takes for approval. I went through Barixclinic in Chadds Ford, PA.

Natasha, WELCOME!!!! And congrats on getting your WLS journey started. About Barix ... sorry I don't have any information on them. My surgeon is Dr Irgau in DE. However, I did find that quite a few on the PA board that have used the Chads Ford docs. My understanding from my brother who is having his surgery done at Barix in Langhorne is they are pretty quick. I think my brother was less than three (maybe four) months from first appointment to surgery on Jan 6th. You still need to have the consults with cardiologist, pulmonologist, and therapist though. You also need to anticipate a built in delay with the insurer. Rob

Wow...that's not long at all. Thanks for the info Rob... I just got word that they sent my paperwork over for predetermination...whatever that means. I hope it means that they are going to approve me. Wish me luck!
