My boss has decided he wants us in uniforms, so they sent a list around to get people's sizes?????? I was full of questions, like when will we get them, what style will they be, because I had no clue on what to tell them. I have been working at this place for 20 years and they have bought uniforms 6 times and each time they don't keep them ordered so when they wear out or get too small, the employees just start wearing their street clothes. So I told them to put a ? for me and when they are ready to order, I will give them a size. So my question is should I give them the size I am wearing now, or try to speculate what I will be wearing in about 3-4 months when they come in. Help Dana

Man that IS a tough one! 3-4 months could be any guess! maybe a size lower. Check how you have lost these last 2 months and maybe try to go by that? Hope they fit ... (or dont if it means you loose alot! ) Elizabeth M

Dana, It is so hard to guess how you are going to change sizes. Some people lose 100 pounds before they realize that they need to downsize and then suddenly are down several sizes. Others lose 10 pounds and are down 2 sizes. A lot really depends on the cut of the cloths and where you carry your weight. With that said ... Good idea of yours to try to find out the style. If the pants are elastic you have a bit more leeway. Perhaps you will have your choice of style? Another thing you mentioned ... holding off until the last possible minute to list you size. Perhaps your work will work with you on that, I am sure they want you at work with your pants on and not falling to your knees? Another thing ... some styles lend themselves to being a bit altered when you lose some weight. In the end, you may just find that what you order may end up too big and have to start all over again. Hopefully you will have others there that will be able to use the size that you pick out and would want the extra uniforms? Sure wish I had a better answer for ya Dana ... what a dilemma!!! Hugs, Tammy PS I just had a thought ... perhaps before you have to actually place your order your company will change its mind and thus it wont be a problem for you after all? We can always hope? *sticking my head back into the sand*

That is a great thought Tammy, I wish they would change their minds. It seem when ever we get new management they have to make their own little changes, even though there has been people there for years like 20 that tells them it is just a waste of money, but they have to find out for themselves, and believe me they do. Thanks for the imput everyone! I am just going to wait until they come back again, maybe hopefully never. Take care....Dana

Dana, I work in a health care center for the aging.and when I got hired in may 2004 I told them I had GBS and my sizes change rapidly.I ordered 2 x-large uniforms, and 3 large uniforms. When the x-large got to big I traded them in for med.and wore the large.I now have traded my large in for a small since the med are getting baggy.Maybe this would be an option for you.It never hurts to ask.Lots of luck Cathy
