My consult was today!

Today I had my first consult. I am seeing Dr. Afram in DC. My hubby and I were quite impressed with him and his program co-ordinator, Mandy. I went there so very nervous, but came out feeling excited and ready to get started! I guess my current weight within 9/10's of a pound. Too much, but hey.. gotta start somewhere, right?

Blanche, Congratulations on finding a surgeon that you are comfortable with!!! Now the fun has just begun!!! Not sure of what his/her protocol is, but hopefully they will have you jumping some hoops to make sure you are in the best possible condition for your surgery. Sometimes, it is hard to do all that jumping, sometimes it seems as if you day will never get here ... but truly it does ... and far sooner than most usually expect!
