TriCare insurance

Does anyone know if Dr. Iragu or Dr. Wynn accept TriCare? My appt with another Dr in DC is on Monday for an consult, but it would be nice to have a closer Dr that accepted TriCare so there would be fewer out of pocket expenses. Thank you, Melissa for your earlier post and I will be sure to check with Dr. Smoot. Just trying to stay within Delaware!

Blanche, I just did a quick check and did not find that anyone had listed TriCare as their insurance (Dr Irgau & Dr Wynn). That does not mean that they do not accept that insurance, or even that someone has not listed them, it simply means that I was not able to find it listed. If you care to take a peek here are the URL's. http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/bariatric+surgeon+profile+Isaias+Irgau+gcg.html http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/bariatric+surgeon+profile+Gail+Wynn+MD+glj.html I still think it is so worth a call to the office still ... Dr Irgau and Wynn are excellent. However, I don't know how you feel about working with someone out of network? I do have a friend who was so set on these docs that she paid 100% out of pocket for them though. Hugs, Tammy

HI Blanche, Not sure about the TriCare but I wanted to say hello and welcome! I hope you get all your insurance stuff out of the way soon and be on your way to the OR. I used CHRIAS for my surgery and can't say enough good things about them. I hope you find what you need soon. Great bunch of people on this board to help you along. Linda
