2 question here
Hello to the board of knowledge,
I have 2 questions to hopefully can be answered.
First my taste buds are changing again and I am not liking the childrens chewables, but have read about the gummi multi vitamins. Is anyone currently taking these and if so how many a day.
Question 2 is. I am 2 months out and just the other day started to experience pain in my right breast. I have not started exercising in the gym yet as my current job keeps me moving, so I wanted to get up to speed there before starting exercise. I don't think I pulled anything. Do you think that since surgery I have lost 55lbs that the extra fatty skin is pulling on the muscle.
Help,
Cynthia
Cynthia,
Congrats on such a wonderful loss!!!
The gummy vits I have checked out do not have near enough of the vits we need. So if you decide to try them out, be sure to check out the labels very closely. I was right where you are at first ... the Flintstones tasted horrible to me and I wanted to do the gummy's. I had been giving my boys the gummys for quite a while. When I really checked the nutritional stats, I was amazed at how low they were in necessary vits. Since then I have checked trying to find a gummy suitable for my children (and/or myself) and have yet to find one that I will now trust our health to. If you find one that is suitable, please let me know. My boys would forever be grateful.
About the pain ... after this surgery, please do not shrug off any abdominal pain. Always check with the docs, it could also be a host of things from something very minor to something more serious.
At this point in your journey, walking is a perfect exercises. Brett suggested that we dedicate just 20 minutes a day to walking ... and do nothing else during that time. If that meant we could only take three steps and rest then take 3 more steps and rest ... then so be it ... but don't do anything else in that 20 minutes. Soon you will find that in that 20 minutes you are walking further and faster. It will help build/keep those large body muscles that help burn the fat (kick your metabolism in the butt). Some can lose all their weight without exercises, but then there are those of us (me) *****ally need to kick it up a notch and still struggle. I hope you are one of those who breezes through without any struggles. But regardless ... walking is good for you whole body, inside and out and before you know it you may be craving exercise like you used to crave food. Weird I know! Still boggles my mind if I really think about it.
Wishing you the best!!! Please update us on the pain.
Hugs,
Tammy
