Dr. Miller's group

Hello wonderful people: I haven't been on the boards for awhile but I was shocked to find out the Dr. Miller is no longer doing gastric surgery. My heart goes out to those that have gone through all the clearances and were just waiting for a surgery date. I do the precerting at BCBS of De and I was just informed by our Medical Director that Dr. Miller has closed his practice due to some malpractice issues. We have many cases that are just awaiting dates of service and now we have to send letters to these poor people. I had my surgery wtih Dr. Wynn and I am sure her office would be glad to take on some of Dr. Miller's patients. Good luck to everyone and let us know how things turn out. Anne

Hi Anne!!! I am not a patient of Dr Miller's. I feel horrible for all that are going through this time of uncertainty - my heart really goes out to them. My girlfriend is his patient and is obviously quite concerned at this point. At any rate, I wanted to say hello to you! And Congratulations on your success!!! I also wanted to let you know that I am BCBS of DE. I was thrilled with their fast response to my surgery approval. If you had anything to do with my process (pre-certifying) ... thank you from the bottom of my heart! Hugs, Tammy
