Hello everyone - It has been a LONG LONG TIME
I have not been on the board since before my surgery. I hope everyone is doing well and thanks for all of your support.
It was 10/20/04 and everything went well. I am feeling pretty good and have some ruff days from time to time. I have returned back to work.
My Angel, Shay was right there and thank you too Shelly and Nicki.
I am still feeling my way through. I did do something I am extremely proud of during my recovery - I walked 2 miles in the park. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO THAT IN 2.5 YEARS...THANK YOU JESUS!
It is only going to get better!
Since I have returned back to work, I have been a little slack but I need to get that back! I do plan to be back on OHB on a regular basis.

Good to see you back sweetie. How's it going? Feeling okay? It does take awhile to get your stamina back. Keep trying everyday to do a little more and 1 day you'll be amazed at how much you can do. Down 30 lbs already. Good job. Can't wait to see you at the next meeting!!! Keep us posted on your progress. ((HUGS)) Elissa
Hey Shay, I miss you back. You are still a great inspiration to me. Hey getting off track happens to everyone at some point in time. The good thing is that you recognize it and admit it, and then get back on the . Sometimes roller coasters can be fun, other times they are scary, but they are usually always an adventure. I hope you are loving your adventure. I am truly loving mine. I will call you today! ~Shelly
Mother Love,
Welcome back to the boards as well as work !!! Now the fun begins....Glad to hear all is well....just take one day @ a time and all will fall into place. It's all about planning and setting a routine that will work for you...especially during work hours. How did you make out with the pain you called me about???? I know bad angel for not following up.....I'll talk to you soon
P.S.
Well you'll be hitting another milestone next week huh?????
MotherLove,
It is so good to see you once again! Glad to hear all is well!!! Congrats on the loss AND the walking!!! Isn't it amazing how fast things change? I will never forget the first time I did a power mile post-op ... you simply could not erase the smile from my face ... although I did have to crash and slept for a while afterwords to recover!!! Continue with the excellent work!!!
Hugs,
Tammy
