Hi everyone Can you believe, on this upcoming Wednesday early afternoon I will be having my surgery. I think it finally hit me on Friday night as I was getting ready to leave work. Everyone was wishing me well and saying that they would see me next year. I haven't been off from work for an extended time period since my daughter was born 21 years ago. I started the liquid diet around noon today. When I was getting ready to leave church this morning, the councilmen and trustees were all pulling me over to let me know that they were concerned for me and would be praying for me. I really felt a lot of love and concern. I love my church family. I also want to let you all know that I really appreciate all your helpful advice and suggestions. You have made my journey easier. I love you guys. (((hugs))) Rose

Rose, I am so happy for you!!! Know that in addition to your wonderful church family, I will be lifting you up in prayer. If you need anything, pre or post, let me know. Get ready chicky ... your turn to fly!!! God Bless you, Tammy BTW - how did the picture taking go??? Also, make sure you get those measurments taken for your home records. They really will help you out in the coming months when you think you are not losing anything anymore - then you take those measurments and find that you are melting!!!

Hi Rose, Very exciting! Like we all say, walk, sip, breathe, cough and then do it all again. You'll be wearing a path around the nurses station before you know it. Linda

Hi Rose, Time seems to stand still and then all of a sudden it's time for the clear liquids and bam your surgery will be here. I am so excited for you. I know you have had a few roadblocks along the way but all good things come to those who wait. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Looking forward to hearing of your progress. Best wishes, Ellen

Rose, Good luck on Wednesday, I'll be thinking of you. The time flies by without even realizing it. All in all its a piece of cake, for me anyhow, so far. The bad thing that I have experienced so far is that Actigall, yuck... I haven't though. But all and all I have not had one ill effect from this, I am very glad I did this and I'm sure you will be too. Make sure to post to let us know how your doing. Good Luck Michele
