It is not my imagination now... it is definitely coming out. I had increased my protein to approximately 85 to 100gms per day. I take all the vitamins etc. I guess it is inevitable. Any suggestions as to what else to do. Should I meet with Dr Wynn or see the dietician? Is it too late and just nature take its course? Any suggestions as always are helpful! Thanks and see you soon.

Terre In addition to your regular vitamins, take zinc 200mg and biotin 1mg or 1000mcg. They will help. Also try nioxin shampoo, you can get at a beauty supply place. Good Luck Nicki

Hi Terre I would not recommend getting your hair dyed at this time. I think it is best to have healthy hair when you are about to have it processed with chemicals. I have had thin hair since my daughter was born, 21 years ago. A good hair cut always does wonders for me. I would suggest letting the stylest know what has been happening so that he/she will be able to take it into consideration when your hair is cut and styled. Rose

Hi Terre, I'm doing protein, vitamins, biotin, zinc, Nioxin, voodoo....lol and it's just now starting to slow down. Mine began at about 3-4 months out and I just hit the 8 month mark. I think it's one of those things that either happens or it doesn't. Doing all those things may not help alot but they sure won't hurt. It won't make your hair grow, but the Nioxin really makes a difference in how my hair feels, and helps prep your scalp for when the regrowth happens. I have all kinds of little baby hairs all over my head now! Hang in there, and if need be, we'll just go wig shoppin'! Linda
