update on secret santa

Hi everyone I like the idea of giving wls products. I think we should have a price limit. So, should we pick names from a hat, or bring wrapped presents to one of our get togethers. Any suggestions for time and place? Also, very importantly, do we have a volunteer to play Santa or Ms. Claus? Rose

Hi Rose, How about Saturday the 11th? We could make it in the evening for dinner since we've been trying to plan a night out forever now Bring a spouse or friend or hook up with each other for rides. Everyone who is attending will bring a gift, that way the number will even out. LOL that way if it's just you and I, we will trade I like the WLS friendly product idea. Do you think a $10.00 price limit sounds reasonable? How about starting a thread here on the board as a sign up for who will be attending and who they're bringing with them. Make a deadline to sign up...say by Friday the 4th, that way we can call whatever place we choose and make a reservation based on that to make sure they can accomodate us with a table. There is a restaurant here on Rt40 just at the Md/ Del line ( md side ) called Bentley's that is very nice, in addition to the restaurant, they also have a bar with DJ or band and dancing, just a suggestion since we are leaving the choice of place up to you..LOL aren't you happy about that?? Hi Linda I like the $10.00 gift limit. I am having surgery on 12/8 so I will need a ride for where ever we decide to go. I was originally thinking about the 12/18 meeting time, but dinner does sound nice. Can you help me co-ordinate this one. I promise that I will organize either a Valentines' Day, St. Patty's Day or Easter get together. Rose PS Can anyone offer me a ride to our get together. I live right off Rt 273 in New Castle. I would love to participate. The weekend of Dec 3 is out for me, for we are moving a huge 2 year project into production that weekend. The weekend of the 11 and 12 is out for me for the group I sing with will be in performance both of those nights. Monday nights are always out because of rehearsals. So now that I've said I will participate and then limited my participation all over the place............. I still want to particpate! Gigee
