Okay guys ... this one is a TRUE WINNER in my book!!! This is like getting your cake and eating it also!!! How often do we get to have this much fun consuming protein??? AND it is SO EASY to make!!! This recipe is going to be a real life saver for me during these coming weeks, while everyone else is nibbling on all their goodies, I too am going to have my portable protein, wrapped up in a candy shell!!! YUMMY!!! If you try it, let me know what you think also!!! BTW - I also heard that is was out of this world with Unjury Vanilla protein. I haven't tried that yet though!!! Enjoy! Tammy ************************************* UNJURY Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Fudge!!! 1/4 cup of margarine/butter 1/2 cup peanut butter Melt together, do not boil - warm up just enough to melt the margarine and soften the peanut butter using very low heat--DO NOT boil or cook. Remove from heat, blend the margarine and peanut butter thoroughly. Cool for 2 minutes In another bowl, combine 2 scoops of Unjury Chocolate Protein Powder 10 pkts of Splenda (1/3 cup) Mix well Slowly add the Unjury mixture to the peanut butter/butter mixture. Mix extremely well (the secret of this fudge is mixing extremely well) I use my stand mixer on high to get as smooth of product as possible. Pour into a container (I use a glad square container with lid), seal and refrigerate until set/firm. I store mine in the fridge BTW!!! Makes 9 small servings; 11.5 gm Protein per serving; 6.8 gm Carbohydrate per serving

Tammy, Step away from the fudge. Actually that sounds real good. Can wait to try it. Course I don't have any chocolate unjury so I guess I'll need to order some I may try it with the Trader brand just to confirm that it really tastes ok. Rob

Hey Rob ... I stepped toward the fudge rather than away. And freely admit that I am afraid to compute the fat content on this particular recipe!!! But I know that someone (who shall remain nameless) was looking for this recipe and so I went on the hunt for it for them. And of course, before actually posting it I HAD to try it out (several times) to ensure that it was in fact a "good" recipe. AND here is the real kicker ... I have lost weight the past couple of days even with this in my diet ... FINALLY! Go figure! I had to go out on Black Friday and so I packed a couple of pieces of this to take with me to help ensure that I got some protein in. I shared with a friend and they LOVED it as much as I did (and they are non WLS). It does not have the same creamy texture as does regular full fat, full sugar fudge. But in my book it is still a winner!!! And even better than the original stuff. While not a perfect food ... so much better for us than the alternative. I hope you like it as much as I do!!! Now about you being out of Unjury. I still have three canisters from my last shipment. You are more than welcome to one of them if you can drop by here. I can no longer "drink" the stuff for whatever reason. And using two scoops at a time with the fudge ... it is going to take me a REAL long time to use up what I have in the pantry!!! So I am serious, I would gladly share with you. You can also buy it at the docs office now too. I think it is like $16.00 a can, at any rate, no shipping and no need to purchase 6 cans at a time. BUT my deal is much sweeter than that!!! You certainly can not beat free??? AND if you let me know you are coming ... I can have a piece of the fudge already made and ready for you to try if you like!!! Bring the wife also ... and she can help you taste test!!! My hubby gives a major thumbs up on this one!!! I dare not allow my kiddies to try!!! Just let me know if you are interested! Your pal "ette", Tammy

Hi Tammy, What a great easy recipe. I'm doing Christmas Eve dinner for about 15 or so people this year and would love to include some low sugar dessertish type stuff. Guess what just made my list! lol of course you know I will HAVE to make some ahead of time, wouldn't want to serve my guests anything weird now would I...might even have to check it even further by making 2 batches ahead of time....sigh...the sacrifices I make Thanks! Linda

Linda, Oh how right you are ... I too WOULD NEVER EVER serve something to my guests without trying it out (several times of course)! I highly suggest that you give it a go (real soon) to ensure it has the quality and taste value for your discriminating friends/guests. Would be such a travesty to offend their pallet with an untried recipe. Don'tcha think? Yes, truly a sacrifice, but a good hostess you are to take such good care of your guests. We really need to get that night out planned ... I could bring a plate of this fudge there and everyone could try before they buy so to speak. Any ideas on where to go, what to do? Other than eat protein fudge? Hugs, Tammy

Made this yesterday and it was great. I modified the recipe a little bit though. Used a zero trans fat margarine, and used the Trader Joe's Vanilla Protein powder with Davinci butterscotch syrup. I also only used 6 packs of Splenda. This is a great treat! Poured it into a pie tin and the servings were pretty good size. Yummy. All sorts of options with this recipe. Thanks, this is my first treat in a year that doesn't come as a smoothie. Hope that everyone in your family is feeling great for the holidays. Look forward to seeing you soon. Rob

Oh Yeah Tammy, Forgot that I also used add crushed pecans to the goop, and poured the other half on top for topping. Real good.

Rob, I tried it with an off brand of vanilla from the Vitamin Shoppe and put pecans on top ... YUMMY!!! Man this stuff is GOOD!!! I can't imagine ever wanting a full sugar version again! I am making both versions of this for a family gathering and a church gathering this Christmas Eve. I think we have a real winner here!!! Hugs, Tammy
