NEW SOURCE FOR SUGAR FREE SYRUPS
I wanted to let everyone know about this...There is a new store called World Market in the shopping center where Trader Joes is (above the Concord Mall going north on 202 towards PA). World Market is in the old Kaybee Toy Outlet, on the side where Petsmart, Old Navy, Bed, Bath and Beyond is.
They have an EXCELLENT selection of Torani sugar free syrups. It's at the very back of the store. The bottles are the same size as DaVinci (approx. 25 oz) and they cost $5.99. You can get the usual (vanilla, Irish creme) but they also have others like English toffee, Almond Roca, white chocolate, and a lot of the fruit ones. But be careful when choosing, the regulars are mixed in the same place.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
You're welcome! I thought it would be good to get the word out since many of us shop at Trader Joe's. There are other foods (of the ethnic and gourmet variety) too. I didn't have time to browse and read labels so I don't know if there are other items we can enjoy! If anyone sees "OK" things let us know!
I'm going to have to be careful shopping there. The non-food merchandise is like a cross between Pier 1 and Kitchen Kapers. I love buying stuff for the home, especially home decor and kitchen gadgets. Right now they have a lot of beautiful Christmas decor items too. And, uh oh, the prices are pretty reasonable! That's an excuse to shop there, right??????
Hey there Rose,
I bought white chocolate, English toffee and raspberry but I haven't tried any of them yet. I just know I like those flavors. I have used the Davinci syrups and like orange and peach (I use it to flavor homemade decaf ice tea) and I've used caramel and mint in hot chocolate, decaf coffee and cappucino. I'm probably not the best person to ask since I am new to using these syrups.
Can others out there let Rose know what favorites they have?
