Update
Hello Friends,
I just wanted to post my lastest results. On November 11th I met with the nutritionist named Danielle. Great lady. I got on her scale for the first time since surgery and the great news is I am now 258.9 down from 305 on October 4th. I am just 8.9 lbs away from being at weight prior to having my first child. Just ten years ago. This dropped my bmi to 43 from 48. Great feat there. We went over my food journal and we discussed every and basically told me to stay on a low fat low carb diet. On top of watching the sugar and protein values she told me how to calculate the fat in the things I was choosing and how to determine if a food is good for me. ( very interesting). She told me that I could stop drinking those bad tasting Isopure drinks and stay with the carb counts milk drinks with unjury that I have been taking.
The week prior to this I returned to work as a cna (certified nursing assistant) This was enough exercise for me to start out with because I am always walking and lifting patients. I told Danielle that this Monday I am going to retun to the gym at Kirkwood Fitness Club and start things off slowly. She told me good thinking.
For thanksgiving I am headed to my dad's house for some emotions. ie That I will have to pace myself as I can't eat like last year. But I am not unhappy about that as I will watch everyone stuff themselves like a turkey. Haha.
