Big News...Update

I am so happy! I went in to the office to see Dr. Wynn today. The G-Tube was taken out, let me tell you what--IT HURT LIKE H---! Even after the tube was out it had a burning sensation. That was awful! Thank God, Danielle let me hold her hand and I bit my finger, because I would have scared off all the other patients. I am not kidding. The Jackson Pratt is a breeze compared to that. ANYWAYS--It is amazing I can breath easier, I am finding myself standing up straighter and having a little bit more energy. I guess if you think about it, it was a foreign object in my body and it was upsetting the apple cart. I have a hole on my stomach where it was at, she just put gauze on it and taped it up. I have to change it a few times a day until it stops bleeding/draining. I will be able to take a bubble bath in forty eight hours. Bubble bathes are my relaxing thing I like to do for me every now and then at night, which I have got to do since April. Now for the more exciting news---I will be at work Monday morning! I am going to work Monday and Wednesday morning for four hours and see how I do. Then we will take it from there and proceed to the next level the following week. In fact today, when I was there I did answer the phone a couple of time and scheduled a couple people. It sure felt good. SO to celebrate--I went to the mall and did some Christmas shopping. I was able to walk the whole mall. I haven't done that since May, what a huge accomplishment for me. Then I came home and took a rest in my lazy "girl" chair. I will take it easy the rest of the night. I just wanted to share my good news and thank you all for your continued support. I also want to give a BIG thanks for the prayers-God has truly been listening and He has been healing my body. He is such an awesome GOD! Hugs and many thanks Nicki

Hi Nicki, Congrats on getting the G-Tube out, I know it must be a HUGE relief. Hmm, now about this foreign object upsetting your apple cart. Exactly where is this apple cart located? Did it come standard on the Nicki Zimmerman model or installed later as an extra. I have NO apple cart anywhere, I even double checked to be sure Glad you're feeling better and went shopping, just think, bubbles galore in just a few more days. Happy chair surfing while you rest. Hi Nicki I am so happy that you are starting to feel better. God is the best physician that I know of. Please remember to not overdo it and to take baby steps. By the way, you wouldn't want to do my Christmas shopping for me, would you? Only kidding. , falling off computer chair. Our God is an awesome God. He reigns from heaven above.
