I know that many of you have posted this information before but I just wanted to double check....I havent had any bloodwork yet to see what my levels are...it is coming up in January! I currently take: -3 Chewable Children's Multi -3 Tums -1 tablet (500mcg) Vit.B12 -1 capsule (18mg) Iron In the past, I have also taken the Optisource Vitamins..without supplementing with any additional since it says that everything is included in the 4 chewables...anyone with any experience with the Optisource and how your levels came out?? Just wondering...thanks!! Missy

I have been taking Optisource since surgery and my bloodwork has been fine.

Hi Missy, I just had an appt with the nutritionist and she told me to stay with 2 chewy calcium (viactiv) iron pill 3 flinstone chewables b12 sublingual And no more. I brought up the subject of taking zinc and biotin for the losing the hair issue. She told me not to worry I am getting it in the multi vitamins. Taking more is not going to help me it is just wasted. Cynthia

I got the same response as Cynthia about the zinc and biotin for hair loss. I also asked Dr. Iragu and Dr. Burgess. I was told that it is common between 3 to 6 months out so just hang in there. Of course, if it gets too bad, everyone said to call to make sure that my protein and vitamins levels are still OK.
