My surgery date got changed

Hi everyone Due to a small glitch in the system, I had to have my surgery date changed from Dec 1th to Dec 8th. I found out late yesterday that Dr. OBrien hadn't released me because of a mild case of sleep apenea. The person at Dr. Obrien's office tried to put the blame on the Sleep Center saying that the results had not been sent, but after some checking from Missy and myself, we discovered that the Sleep Center sent the results to Dr. Risso. Dr. Risso reviewed it and sent it to Dr. OBrien. Dr. OBrien reviewed it and recommended a C-Pap and there it sat. No one had contacted either Dr. Irgau's office or myself about the results. Things always happen for a reason and so if God wants me to have the surgery on Dec 8th instead of Dec 1st, I guess it is okay with me. Do you think I will be up to visiting 2 weeks after the surgery? My Mom's 70th birthday is December 21st. I am still jumping for joy. Rose

Hi Rose, Glad you got everything all worked out even if it means a slight delay...like you say, everything in it's own time. I think barring any complications you will be more than up for visiting 2 weeks out. LOL I was doing laundry in the basement by Saturday after coming home on Thursday. Linda

Hi Rose, Like you said things do happen for a reason. Have you scheduled or do you have to schedule another sleep study for the c-pap? I had to have another one so they could figure out what setting for the c-pap. Waiting on those results as I type so I can get it before surgery on the 29th. There is also a possibility that my date could change if the results do not get sent in time. Keep us posted. Ellen
