My sister has a kidney stone...

My sister, Deb Sullivan, is in the hospital, again. She was up all night with pain and vomitting on Fri and called me Sat am to take her to Chrs ED. She called Dr Peters who confirmed that she should come in. She has a kidney stone, of all things, and was somewhat dehydrated. Dr Peters wants to keep her overnight again tonight as he may have seen a "loop" in her bowel, which means a blockage--scary. She's having surgery for the kidney stone right now. Glad that was diagnosed because she has been having a really TOUGH time since her surgery six weeks ago. So fingers crossed and hoping she doesn't have a blockage or at least if she does that they can correct it and she can mend and hopefully gain some relief. Oh, and it really does make a difference to call the Dr first. Dr Peters was at the hospital and said he'd hang around til she came. As we all know the ED is always very busy, and they were expecting her and she went right back and they started getting busy with her right away. We are greatful to Dr Peters for that. Sorry I missed the meeting yesterday. I heard Dr Wynn's prospective was enlightening. I also missed Amber Wynn, too. Hope I see her soon. Elissa gave me some (well, lots) clothing and I stopped over her house last night to pick them up. She was able to show me the pics of you all and as usual, everyone is awesome. I'm so jealous that I didn't hold that little bundle of joy. I would have liked to have hugged Nicki, too. Thanks again, Elissa. You are awesome. Sorry B&J got the willies and I had to rush out. Hi Dianne, Thanks for kletting us know how she is and please keep updating when you have time. I'm so glad they were on the case right away! Hopefull they will get everything fixed up and with minimal extras involved. Hope she is feeling better soon. The baby is a total beauty and her mama is looking good too. I enjoyed hearing the meeting from Dr. Wynn but sure missed Brett. I'm secretly hoping he hates the weather down there and comes back Missed seeing you! Linda

Thanks for the update on Debbie. Thank God she went in. Kidney stones can put a real hurting on you. Tell her we're all thinking of her. Hope her bowels are okay. Let us know. Glad the clothes fit you. Wear them for a little while in good health. Let us know how Debbie makes out. Elissa
